Counting the Omer
Begins sunset, April 4th
Ends sunset, May 23d
Lev 23:15-16 instructs us to count for seven weeks (49 days) to the day after where we arrive at Shavuot (Pentecost-the 50th Day). Each Omer Day begins at sundown the day before (aka: the Erev).

Spring Mikvah &
Family Day
Mikvah means a ritual bath used for spiritual purification. An immersion in "living water" at the Russell Park in Georgetown. Often new members who want to dedicate themselves to Messiah or for seasoned members who've received revelation immerse in preparation of Shavuot.
There is a great swim site with plenty of room and access to the water as well a room for games with the family! Covered picnic tables available it on a First Come, First Serve basis. We will do our best to secure a few.

- Location: Russell Park, 2101 Co Rd 262, Georgetown, TX
- Parking is $5.00 parking fee per vehicle.
- Swim area is the second right after entering the park, look for our signs.
- What to bring:
- Your own lunch/snacks, lawn chairs, sunscreen, umbrella for extra shade.
- Appropriate water-wear, shoes, and change of clothing for afterwards, towel.
- BtM will have bottled water available.
Shavuot ~ Pentecost
The Giving of the Torah/Holy Spirit
The 50th day of Weeks known as Pentecost with the giving of the Holy Spirit (NT) and Shavuot (OT) with the giving of the Torah. Amazing as they occur on the same Feast Day, God is Good!
POTLUCK LUNCHEON ~ Catered chopped brisket, buns, water, tea & lemonade. Please bring Biblically clean side, or desserts to share. Glass containers are NOT permitted in the park.
