Pesach ~ Passover Seder

Seder Service on April 22d
@ 7:00pm at Beit Messiah Synagogue

The Messiah's Pesach begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month, Lev 23:5. This year it occurs on the evening of April 22d. We will gather for a catered dinner and have our seder (Order of Service) to commemorate God's provision of the past as well as His provision in the days to come.

Feast of Unleavened Bread

Erev Service on Sep 24th
@ 7:30pm at Beit Messiah Synagogue

Lev 23:28 "You are not to do any kind of work on that day, because it is Yom Kippur,  to make atonement for you before YHVH your God."

Messiah made atonement for us as our High Priest, and as King, will judge those who were not written in the Book of Life.  This event is often observed by a 25-hour complete fast.

Day 1~Night of Emmanuel
~First lulav waving

Lev 23:35 "On the first day there is to be a holy convocation; do not do any kind of ordinary work."

Messiah physically dwelled with us. The first day of Sukkot we celebrate His virgin birth, the real "manger story". Even in Jewish circles the first night is often known as "Sukkot Emmanuel"....

Isaiah 7:14 "Look, the maiden conceives and gives birth to a Son, and shall call Him Emanuel."

 Day 2-6, Tabernacling
~Waving the lulav

Lev 23:41 "Your are to observe it as a feast to YHVH seven days in the year.."

Each night we gather at the Sukkah for a short teaching by various leaders and together wave our lulav and etrogs.

Everyone is welcome to  come out for just the evening. Some members come early and bring their dinner to enjoy in the corporate sukkah.

Anyone wanting to camp a night or more just let us know.  For camping reservations see below.

Day 7~Hoshana Rabbah
~Final lulav waving

This is the water libation night where we pray for the latter rains and dance at the Sukkah together.  We wave the lulav for the last time.

John 7:37 "Now on the last day of the festival, Hoshana Rabbah, Yeshua stood and cried out, 'If anyone is thirsty, let him  come to me and drink! :38 Whoever puts his trust in me, as the Scripture says, rivers of living water will flow from his inmost being!'"

Shemini Atzeret
-The Eighth Day

Lev 23:36 "...The eighth day will be a holy gathering for you... It is a public festival, you do no servile work."

This is called wedding Feast of the Lamb. This rehearsal marks the beginning of Eternity, swelling with King Yeshua forever in the New Heaven and the New Earth.

We have a special oneg potluck dinner with a "thanksgiving" theme in anticipation of the marriage feast of the Lamb. Bring a biblically kosher dish to share.

Come and celebrate with us!!
